Your Shein order has been stuck in transit for what feels like weeks now.
What’s going on and what should you do?
Let’s take a look…
Shein Order Stuck in Transit – Guide
So why is your Shein order tracking stuck on “In Transit”?
The first thing you need to do when this happens on a Shein order is to check your tracking number in more than just the Shein tracking page.
See the screenshot above as an example. On my latest Shein order, this is what has been showing in my dashboard for over a week now.
The order tracking has been stuck on “In Transit” since the 25th of September, (today is the 3rd of October).
However, I am well aware that Shein tracking (especially when the Yanwen carrier is used), will stop updating at this point.

It is an unusual state of affairs, (why would Shein not properly track the orders it sends out?) but one that is very easy to solve.
After the Shein tracking page stopped updating, I simply copied the tracking number and entered it into 17Track, (you can also use Parcelsapp).
These free services will search hundreds of carrier databases to find details of your shipment.
In the screenshot below you can see that has been 6 further updates, in the time that my Shein order has been stuck in transit.

Essentially, 90% of the time, (I made up that stat but you get my point), the reason Shein is stuck on this update is that you simply need to look elsewhere.
Your package is moving, you’re just not seeing updates for it.

What to do if Your Shein Order is Stuck in Transit?
Okay, so you have gone through the above, checked your tracking elsewhere and no new updates can be found.
It really does seem as if your item is stuck in transit.
In this situation, you will need to gauge your response in line with how long Shein stated the delivery would take.
For me, as I live in Croatia, this is 8 to 20 days.
Take a look at the screenshot below.
Here the Shein order states “In Transit”. However, the estimated date of arrival is now 12 to 19 days away.
In other words, my tracking could legitimately remain In transit for another two weeks and it would still be deemed by Shein as part of the standard delivery period.
In other words, if I was to contact Shein at this point I would be told to wait longer.
If, however, the 19 days of the delivery window draws to a close and the tracking hasn’t budged, I will contact Shein here, and start to make inquiries.
As it happens I received a text this morning stating that delivery will take place today.
This means with even a fast Shein delivery, the arrival date can really be sprung upon you. (I am not complaining, obviously).
Again, by way of example, the Shein tracking has even reached the “In Dispatch” stage and my package is arriving today.
Long story short, the Shein tracking page is less than reliable.

Final Words
That is essentially it.
Most of the time, you will need to universal tracking app to see that your Shein order may seem stuck in transit but is in fact moving toward you.
There is also the issue of long delivery windows on Shein orders. This means you should only contact the platform once the shipment reaches the end of the proposed delivery schedule.
If the package really is stuck or even lost, you will then have grounds for a refund or a new shipment of the same order.

I’m a 25 year veteran of USPS. I’m retired now, but as the editor of Mailbox Master, I can’t quite remove myself from the carrier industry just yet. 🙂
I am Zintle Kondlo. I am expecting my order now they say I amust contact logistics company which I don’t know. Why do you take my money while you know that yo won’t deliver my clothes?
Hi Zintle. Try entering the tracking number you have in a free-to-use website such as 17Track (https://www.17track.net/en). This will provide you with details of the carrier responsible for your package. You can then contact them to find out what is going on.
did your order eventually come?
