You’re expecting an order from Wish and you are wondering if it will be delivered directly to your door.
How does a Wish package reach you, and do you need to head to the post office in some cases?
Let’s take a look…
Summary: Does Wish Deliver to Your Door?
Wish will deliver packages to your front door or mailbox. Wish uses budget carriers for shipping orders. Upon arrival in the destination country, the local postal service is used for last-mile delivery. This means that you can also arrange to pick your item up at the post office instead.
Does Wish Deliver to Your Door? – Guide
In the United States, USPS will be responsible for delivering your Wish order to your mailbox.
In cases where the item is too large to fit in your mailbox, USPS will attempt delivery by knocking on your door to deliver in person.
If you are not in, the normal procedure applies where an attempted delivery notice (PS Form 3849) will be placed in your mailbox and you will be able to arrange re-delivery or pickup using the information provided on the form.

The same applies to Canada and countries across Europe.
In fact, wherever you are based, the local postal service in the destination country is normally used for the last-mile delivery of Wish packages.
This is the most cost-effective way for Wish to ship its products.
Low-budget carriers based in China (and economy line haul services for overseas transit) are used for the earlier stages of the shipment.
Once it arrives in the country of the recipient, (and cleared customs), the package is handed over to the postal service for delivery.

Does Wish Deliver to the Post Office?
Because Wish shipments leverage the postal service in the destination country, it is possible to have your package held at the post office for collection.
The procedure clearly differs depending on the country you reside in.
However, in summary, you can use your tracking number and online services such as the USPS Delivery Manager (assuming you are in the USA); to arrange to pick up at your local post office or pick-up point.
However, you will need to make these arrangements before the Wish package is loaded onto the truck for final delivery.

Final Words
In short, by using the postal service of the recipient’s home country, Wish orders are delivered to your door or mailbox.
Arrangements can be made with the postal service for alternative delivery or pickup, but this will need to be done before the final delivery takes place.
Essentially, all normal rules regarding delivery in your home country (via the postal service) will apply to your Wish order too.
