This tracking update from SF Express means that the package has arrived at the carrier facility closest to the delivery address. It will be sorted inside this facility and then will go out for delivery within one or two days.
Arrived at the Place of Delivery – Guide
The “Arrived at the Place of Delivery” is a very positive update to receive.
Essentially, it means that the shipment has arrived at the region of the destination address.
It is now inside the local facility and will be sorted for the appropriate truck for final delivery.
This process normally takes no longer than two days from the point the update is triggered.
In other words, when you see this update you know that delivery of the parcel is imminent.

Tracking Stuck on “Arrived at the Place of Delivery”
If more than three days pass without delivery (or an alert indicating delivery) is taking place, there has been a delay inside the local facility.
Normally, SF Express utilizes third-party carrier companies or local postal services to complete delivery.
This means that you will need to find out which carrier now has your item, (and therefore which facility it is located).

If your SF Express tracking does not show this information you will need to use a universal tracker app to find out more.
Free services such as 17Track or Parcelsapp will scan the databases of hundreds of carriers using the tracking number that you enter.
Whichever service now has your package, these apps will help you find out.

What to do if Tracking is Stuck?
I recommend that after 3 business days from the “Arrived at the Place of Delivery” update you contact the carrier.
In the USA this will be either USPS or UPS.
However, a quick check using a tracking app will confirm which.
If possible, you could then circumvent the national customer services number of the carrier by contacting your local facility or post office instead.

Final Words
There is very little to say when it comes to the “Arrived at the Place of Delivery” update.
SF Express uses this alert to inform you that the package is now at the facility local to the recipient.
With any luck, your parcel will be with you with 48hrs.
If you experience any delays beyond this, contact the local facility to find out more.
